Get to Know Jeff Echols

ONE 10 STUDIO strives to deliver a product rather than only the design portion of the building process. This notion differentiates us from many practices. An architect's dream is to realize the design through built work. Our STUDIO of architects and construction managers leads a complete process from the germ of our clients' ideas through construction to owner occupancy, realizing our clients' dreams. Architect Mies van der Rohe summarized it best when he said "Architecture begins when you place two bricks carefully together".

For the past 20 years Jeff Echols has worked in the construction industry across the Midwestern United States. Having hands-on experience in the masonry, electrical and carpentry fields allowed him to enter into the field of architecture with a great deal of “real world,” field experience. His familiarity with the construction trades assists him in developing good working relationships with craftspeople and in designing and managing successful projects. As a one time leader of Historic Preservation for one of the Nation’s leading firms, Jeff has been involved with a large number of renovations, both Historic and not, ranging from single family homes, to covered bridges, to fire houses, to train depots. Currently, Mr. Echols’ focus is on the design + build arena for a variety of project types from commercial to residential, new construction to renovation. What does all of this mean to you? Jeff Echols brings experience in building and design, as well as, relationships with real estate and banking professionals, craftspeople and designers to your project. His expertise in all aspects of the life of a project, will provide comfort and confidence throughout your journey to a satisfying and successful built product.
