When you love the sea as much as Bob Publicover, and your heritage is as much apart of who he is, it's no wonder friends and associates refer to him as "The Captain".
To say Bob loves the sea, though, is an understatement.. "When I'm on the water, I'm in my element. I love the smell of the salty air, the rocking of the waves and the cry of the seagulls. I even feel like I have salt water coursing through my veins."
A Genuine Enthusiasm: Today, his love for the sea is just as strong. In fact, as an active member of the United States Coast Guard Aux., he often spends his spare time as an Officer, teaching boating safety courses to the public, inspecting vessels, patrolling the local waters to assist boaters in distress. His Coast Guard designations include "specialist" in weather, advanced navigation, seamanship, Aide to the Commodore and past Commander of a Flotilla.
The Ideal Place: For someone who loves the sea so much, the "Treasure Coast" of Florida is the Ideal place to call home. I love this community. "It's the perfect place for me to enjoy the ocean and sample some of the cultural events and fine dining along the "Treasure Coast". After vacationing here he decided a career change was in order and the rest is history.

|Dear Bob, I am writing this letter to express my deepest gratitude for the professionalism, attention and courtesy shown to me during the marketing and subsequent sale of my home. As you know, I am not the type of person to give praise or kudos frequently or unnecessarily. When I first decided to sell my home, I attempted to sell it through the "Buy Owner" corporation. It seemed easy enough. All I had to do was show my home and they would do the rest. This "bargain" only cost me $3,000 plus (in advance) and they would take care of all the advertising, contract prep and closing. What they didn't tell me is that their marketing strategy is to showcase their company only. All I got was a picture on their website and in their catalog. I listed with them for 10 months and never received a single call from a prospective buyer or even a follow-up from their associates to see if I was happy or not. The phrase, "take the money and run" comes to mind. I saw your ad and decided to give you a try. You responded immediately, explained everything in detail and never pressured me to do anything. You kept me informed throughout the entire process and I always knew where we were heading and what the market was doing or not doing. Even though the current real estate market is in a media driven turmoil, your strategy paid off, my home sold in 4 months and this allowed me to move on with the next phase of my life. Again, thank you very much for your expertise and I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone that wants to sell their home in as little time as possible. Sincerely, David L. Haskell|
|Hi Bob, It was good to hear from you - we have be wondering how things were going in Springtree. Sorry to hear that the housing market has slowed down so much. Guess we did make the right timing decision, but more important, picked the right realtor. We appreciate all the work you did in selling the house. We received word yesterday that our new home will be ready to close on November 3. We went to Leesburg 2 weeks ago, and the house looked good - we are very happy with the construction. If you are ever in the Leesburg area we hope you will stop by. Gene & Helga|
