Originally from Wales, my wife and I call Florida home for similar reasons.  In my wife's case she doesn't miss the snows of a Chicago winter, being brought up in Illinois, and in my case I don't miss the cold rains of my home country.  So we both chose the sunshine State for the Sun! 

Before real estate I was a customer service manager and trainer for 18 years.  A resident of Florida for the last 14 years, the last 12 and someone who remembers a time when customer service seemed to mean more than it often does today.  I know the importance of listening to our customer clients and of staying in contact, to walk alongside buyers and sellers through to closing.  Todays market with short sales and foreclosures is an even more stressful situation for both buyers and sellers.

As a Realtor I admit to enjoying the satisfactions alongside the frustrations, whether buying or selling the process is one of the most important steps in anyones life.  All the more reason for us as Realtors to listen and be committed to every search, to every sale and to every purchase as if it was our own.
