Get to know Pam Faulkner
Pam Faulkner is an IRIS certified interior redesigner and stager She was an active member of the Interior Redesign Industry Specialists organization, winning first place awards in their annual Design Challenge and the only member to receive the organization's Five Star Promise Award .
Her background in retail display and merchandising for stores such as William Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Hold Everything and The Original Christmas Store transitioned to residential design. When Pam opened Deck the Halls!, a holiday and special event decorating company in Dallas, Texas, it lead to a feature in the Dallas Morning News', Dallas Life Magazine because of its unique services.
Pam has been redesigning homes for dwelling and staging for selling in the northern Virginia areas of Fairfax and Loudoun Counties since 2002.
She was the first president and founding member of the IRIS National Capital Area Chapter and a founding member of the Interior Redesign & Staging Association in the metro Washington, DC area. She has also been a member of the Association of Design Education, now the Decorating and Staging Academy.
For 15 years Pam Faulkner was the author of the newsletter, The Redesigner's Notebook, and has continued to share her comments, insights and expertise through articles in publications such as the New York Times, Better Homes and Gardens, Luxury Home Quarterly, Apartment Therapy, and The Washington Post.
Pam believes that every home should be a special place, a haven that reflects the homeowner's style and tastes, is functional, and inviting.
