Get to Know Norma Kania

My background has encompassed many fields, all which have led to this! I have been in marketing, human resources, finance, banking (including mortgages), accounting and management. I have also been in property managment of commercial/residential rentals.

Hmm, you wonder...what does that have to do with being a license real estate agent? Well, if you listed your home or apartment with me, I have the marketing skills to bring excitement to your listing. I create much of my own ad work. I know how to 'get the word out'.

Whether you're buying or selling, my background in human resources has taught me how to LISTEN. Not just hear. What do you want from a dream home, what are your plans and hopes for the home you own...

Banking and finance... that's self-explanatory. Isn't that what it's all about... buying and selling.

Management and accounting. Accounting people are very detail oriented. Everything must be accounted for and included in any financial document. As a manager I can see the 'whole picture' as well as the details.

So here I am, doing what I love.

My favorite saying is this: The Greatest Journey in Life is on the Road That Leads You Home.

Let me take you home!

Certifications

In my property management days, I always made sure that any available rental was properly cleaned, painted and staged for show. I ws doing this before it became "the thing" on the popular TV stations. I am also a Certified HomeStaging Professional and very proud of it. I can help direct you in staging your home for the potential buyers.

One of the terms I was given in HomeStaging course was to take your beutiful home and depersonalize it. Then we take that home and turn it into a commodity. Then we make potential buyers want to take it and make it their own. I don't charge any extra for the service. Please just don't yell at me if I gently suggest that those lime green walls, although beautiful (ick), and very personal to you and maybe a potential buyer won't see the beauty in the color. Perhaps a more neutral color or shade will help them visualize their things in the room.

That's how I work.
