Chris first came to the mountains of Western North Carolina in the spring of 1999 and immediately fell in love with the area. It was then that he and his wife decided to spend their summers in the mountains, and winters at their home in Jensen Beach, Florida.
After two great summers enjoying the cool mountain air and hiking the many miles of trails to mountaintops and waterfalls, they decided to buy their second home in Sapphire, NC. Today Chris spends 11 months of the year in North Carolina and enjoys helping others like himself realize their dream of living in the mountains.
