I've been a NJ Licensed Realtor since 2006, but have been around the business my whole life as my mother has been one of the top realtors in the area for the last 30 years. At first all I knew about Real Estate is that you showed people houses and if they bought one that you showed them you made some money. But after a while I realized that my mother wasn't just showing people houses, she was helping them find the right home for their families. As noble as that sounded, it really didn't hit me just how important a job it is until me and my wife started looking for a house. Obviously we went to my mother for help, and after all those years of sitting in the car while she showed people houses, this is the 1st chance I had to really be a part of what she was doing. She sat with us and asked us what was most important for us in finding a new home...was it an easy commute to NYC where we both worked, was it a good school system for our 2 young kids, or was it a nice backyard where we could have big BBQs for all our friends and family.If you give me the opportunity, I'd like to find out what's most important in your life...an easy commute, good schools, or a nice backyard. And then I'd like to help you and your family find a home to match.
