Get to Know Nancy Austin
Nancy Austin's Team I am part of the Piper Partners team of Ann Arbor, Michigan, which is part of Keller Williams Realty, Ann Arbor; however, I have a unique position in that I don't work the Ann Arbor area. Rather, Andy asked me to join the team to work all of western Wayne County and south Oakland County. I am his "eastern" part of the team. My area includes Canton, Plymouth, Northville, Novi, Livonia, Westland, Garden City, Redford, Farmington Hills, Belleville.
Andy Piper is an awesome team leader and is beyond belief in marketing homes on the internet. He is building one website after another about the homes in Canton, Plymouth, Northville, Livonia, and surrounding area. Diane is a buyers agent in the Ann Arbor area and Jan Byer is our closing coordinator. Chery is our assistant and is awesome in marketing and assisting us with whatever we need. What a team. And it sure gives me much more free time to spend with clients and customers.

I am both a listing agent and a buyer agent. I enjoy working with sellers who want to move up to a larger home, a different style home due to a change in family dynamics, such as into a home with the first-floor master. Maybe a seller who chooses to move from a home to a condo. An additional area of seller expertise is working with seniors moving to retirement or assisted living. Directors from various retirement communities refer their potential clients to me to help get their homes sold and to facilitate the move. I love working with the older citizens. I appreciate their trust and loyalty. I love their stories and love to help with what is usually a very difficult and lengthy decision. First-time buyers are a definite favorite of mine. I enjoy guiding them through the entire home-buying process and seeing them settle into their new place. I help them find a lender with whom they can relate, to understanding each step of the process, explaining the purchase agreement and all the s well as the closing. I always explain I am there for them well after the closing. I love staying in touch.
I enjoy helping recently-married couples as well as single women and single men. (See my post on signle women.)
The processes of buying and selling real estate are forever changing, and find it to be an extremely rewarding experience.
One of the best things that happens is when clients to whome I have sold a house, call me because they want me to handle their next move. I am honored to help them and their families once again. The real icing on the cake? When a client says, "You are now a member of the family." It doesn't get any better than that.
