I believe that in this industry we have to be more than just Lenders, we need to be Mentors.  As today's financial markets continue to get more complicated than in the years past there are more obstacles to encounter.  The rules are changing faster that ever before.  From the beginning it is our duty to foster trusting relationships with our clients so that as they proceed though the mortgage process they feel comfortable knowing that their welfare and interests are our foremost concern.  We must educate them so that they know what to expect, when to expect it and know that when the unexpected happens they feel confident in the fact that we can handle it. 

In the mortgage industry and as in life in general we must work together as a team with each portion of the team performing their functions to add to and complete the whole.  We must always be flexible in our thinking, philosophy, and in our actions to triumph over those seemingly insurmountable obstacles.
