Mark Velasco --Sharpstone Realty’s Top Producer for the last 5 years and I was recruited to West Shores Realty as a Broker Associate. I believe in building positive relationships based on integrity, communication, and top-notch results. 99% of the people that work with me become life-long clients because they are more than a paycheck to me. I take their goals and dreams as if they were my own. Real estate is my passion and my purpose, and I would love to work with you.

I enjoy travelling and have been to most of the Caribbean, Greece, and most of Central & Western Europe. Now, I have been hitting the road with my wife Tania and my two children Tyler (11) and Bella (9).

My other passion projects are helping charities involving single mothers and the homeless (because my mother was a single mother, and we were nearly homeless at one time). Now we own properties and can afford to give back to our community. God is good!!

Mark demonstrated his professionalism from the the first phone call requesting his services. He was very responsive when it came to answering texts, emails and phone calls. He was also very accommodating to our schedules since my wife and I are both working professionals. He was a very good listener and he was focused on finding us a home that we wanted. I know he has many clients but he never said no to a meeting or call and always made us feel as though we were his most important clients. I would strongly recommend using Mark Velasco if you want to work with a true professional.

Mark is a consummate professional. He listens to your wants/needs and shows homes based on your established must haves. A family man that looks through each home with a different set of lenses than most agents, Mark is genuine in his approach and extremely patient when viewing properties. Mark is quick to point out potential problems/pitfalls with properties, which is a testament to his knowledge and forethought as it relates to one if the biggest purchases one will ever make. Mark is very honest and has a relaxed disposition. You will never feel pressured to make a decision to pull the trigger on a purchase. In fact, Mark would often advise me to take my time and carefully consider all options before submitting offers.

Mark is a saint. He helped my wife and I find our dream home. He is extremely patient and listens to the needs of his buyers. He was always there when we needed him and he always communicating with us. We were very picky and sometimes stubborn but he always had a positive attitude and never complained and helped us unconditionally. We believe that without Mark we would not have the place we have, He guided us through the emotional roller coaster that is buying a home in this market. It was a blessing to have worked with him and we highly recommend him.

I will have to admit that the concept of a "One Day Sale" had me a little worried as a method to sell my home. However, I was in a bit of a financial bind and had to give it a try to sell my home quickly. Mark was patient when answering my many questions and scenarios. Surprisingly, my home sold in less than a week. I am not sure what he did...but there were many Buyers and many offers. I was very happy with my final sale price and I didn't even need to do any repairs for the Buyers. I would gladly recommend Mark as a Listing Agent to any of my family and friends.

As a first time buyer, I was very hesitant when dealing or talking to agents. I talked to other agents and they seemed very pushy and too much of a salesperson. My wife and I came accross Mr. Velasco as a colleague of mine referred him to us. I called Mr. Velasco on number that I was provided, there was no answer so I left a voice message. To my suprise my call was returned immediately, we spoke for about 30 minutes where he actually answered some questions and also expained the entire buying process by phone and put me at ease. Mr. Velasco was very helpful in our transaction and was never pushy. He listened to us and had our best interest in mind at all times. As first time buyers we are happy with our new home and the work our agent provided...Thanks Mark.....

Mark provided me with the upmost service and efficiency in finding me a suitable rental. As a working professional I dont have the time to search listings on rental directories, visit and find out if "its a fit". Mark knew what I wanted, and worked within my budget. I would recommend Mark to anyone looking to save time and money and deal with a "true professional".

My husband would surf the net looking for properties. Whenever he found potentials he would call Mark. Mark would immediately get us more information on the properties and then take us to see the ones we had selected. He was efficient, polite, friendly, and he never pushed. He also helped with the paperwork and recommended an inspector. We sincerely appreciate the work he did for us.

Mark was a pleasure to work with, and we always knew he was on our side. He helped us through not only searching for a new home, but dealing with FHA loans, and with our attempt to purchase a short sale (LOTS of sitting and waiting for the banks to respond). We ended up moving out of state suddenly for a career opportunity, and had to drop our bid on a gorgeous house in Whittier. Mark was so understanding- not sure I would have been the same were I in his shoes. We will definitely recommend him to our family and friends still in Southern California. Thanks Mark!

Mark was very knowledgeable and helpful thoroughout the transaction. As a first time buyer, I had lots of questions that he patiently answered. He even sent me a complete home buyer's guide. Mr. Velasco was able to sell my mother's home in three miraculous days. He listed her property on a Thursday and by Sunday, we had two offers. Mr. Velasco advised us to go with the second offer. It was the best advise because they offered our listing price. Mr. Velasco kept us well informed through the whole process. He became very familiar with the city very quickly to help get the property sold. Mr. Velasco was very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him as a Real Estate Agent.

Very hands on, held our hand throughout the process. I don't know how many agents would show houses on Super Bowl Sunday, Mark did!. Because of that, we bid on this house that same day and were able to be the first offer. First class service. Very hard to find these days, especially in this industry. But Mark definitely provide first class service.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH MARK!! Prior to working with Mark I used 4 other less experienced agents... Mark was very knowledgable and showed experienced working with short sales... my transaction took about a year to complete... Due to the delays of the short sale... Mark was able to negotiate an additional discount in the overall cost of the house... approx $10,000... I will continue to recommend Mark to friends and family he is truly a great agent....
