As I said before, I have been doing loans for the last 5 years and i have found that borrowers have been or are currently being taken advantage of in some way.  Because of this I have decided I am going to buisness a little differently. 

1. Education-I think that every borrower I work with needs to understand the mortgage they are getting.  Too many times people get into a mortgage and they find out something they did not know before they closed and are unhappy or they are in trouble.  Also I show them how to really see what they are being charged so that there is no way the shady Loan Officer can take advantage of them in the future.

2. Service-This one is so simple, yet it is never followed anymore.  The borrower, the realtor and all the others that are invovled with the mortgage need to know what is going on all the time.  By leaving someone in the dark you really end up with no one to work with when you are done.  So it is very important to me to get the information out to all invovled right away and let them know what is going on.

3. The little things-This is never done by the Loan Officer any more.  What do I mean, well basicly it is like this, I am always there for my borrowers.  Even when the loan is done they can call me and ask me questions and so on.  I watch the market and if I see t hat one of my borrowers can benifit by a change in the market I let them know so they are always in the driver seat when it comes to the mortgage market.  This is huge because most transactions end when the loan closes, but after the loan closes is when they need you the most.  I want to be like the family doctor.  I get called when whenever there is something my borrower may need.
