Dan is a native Oregonian, but after nearly a decade in the Silver State, he is proud to call himself a Nevadan.  Even before moving here, he had driven the length and breadth of this magnificent state many times.  Gambling trips to Reno were a family tradition for his folks in Oregon, so he learned at an early age the hazards of entering a casino with money in your pocket, lesson number one for long-term survival in a gaming community!  He lived for two years in Las Vegas before settling in sunny Mesquite with Greer, his wife of nearly 35 years.

Before moving to Southern Nevada, Dan and Greer lived for three years near Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where he launched a vacation rental business on the Internet. Dan created and maintains the popular website Cabo Bob's Los Cabos, which still entertains hundreds of visitors daily. 

Dan previously worked in Oregon in Real Estate Sales and Development, and for nearly 20 years as an Attorney, including ten years as a Municipal Judge. His law practice focused on Real Estate, and his clients included the local Board of Realtors. A Harvard graduate, Dan also taught Real Estate Law and Business Law classes at Oregon State University and his local community college.

The son of a bricklayer and a school secretary, Dan grew up with two younger sisters and a baby brother in a house with one bathroom, built from scratch by his father.  As the family grew, he learned to handle a hammer and saw himself, helping Dad add the bedroom he shared with his brother through most of their childhood.  He helped pay his way through college and law school by working summers as a hod carrier for his dad, and has also built a house of his own, so construction has always been part of his life.  Dan has also worked as a bricklayer, writer and Boston cab driver.

Dan has worked in Mesquite as both a broker and agent, and is proud to count many of the finest agents in town among his friends.
