Get to Know Melanie Jacobs
I have lived in Sheridan since 1991 and have seen this amazing town grow from a sleepy retirement community to a prosperous and economically strong place to live. I moved here because my husband's job was here - only planning on staying a couple of years. It only took a short time for us to fall in love with Sheridan and all of its beauty. We now are raising our two daughters here and find Sheridan to be the perfect balance of small town and large town. We are close enough to the bigger cities if we find the need to "hit the mall", attend a concert, or enjoy a professional sport.
I have made real estate my career because I love helping people find a home - a place to call their own. I am extremely involved in the schools and the extra-curricular school activities, as well as other community events. I am an avid golfer and a member of the Sheridan Country Club.

I have spent the last 4 years working as a licensed assistant to a wonderful Associate Broker who taught me so many things! Just this year I have decided to venture out on my own -- spread my wings a bit. I have worked with high-end buyers as well as first time homebuyers. I like the residential part of real estate -- buying a "home" is a wonderful step in life -- whether it be a first one or a step up -- it is emotional and exciting. I understand all of that!
