Get to Know Liz McGrath
I moved to Cape Coral from Brooklyn New York in 1997. I wanted to enjoy the sun and the laid back Florida lifestyle while I was still young enough to. I am a single mom of three wonderful kids. While sometimes we still miss the fast paced city life, for the most part we all feel Florida has become our home.
When I bought my first home in NY, I felt like I was on my own. The Realtors I worked with were either unwilling or unable to provide me the information every first time homebuyer should have. I had the same experience when I relocated to Florida. I then decided to make real estate my career and have sucessfully been counciling first time buyers since 1998.
Certifications
I recently acquired my Registered Trainee Appraiser license, and am working towards becoming a Certified Residential Appraiser.
By working part time as a Appraiser Trainee I feel like I am adding to my knowledge of the real estate market conditions in the area. This is only one of the ways that I try to set my standards above and beyond the many Realtors in the area.
As I said previously, I have helped many first time buyers purchase their homes, including police officers, firefighters and teachers. I also live on the water and own other waterfront property so I am able to use my personal knowledge to council buyers looking to own on the water about the best opportunities.
