I spent decades in the non-profit world, finally retiring as Executive Director of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges. Always connected to the real estate market where my husband, two of my daughters and my sister have all spent significant time, I determined that this would be my next career move. Since coming into the business, I have worked with buyers and sellers. I enjoy the personal connections I have made through my business, and hold my clients in high regard. I bring enthusiam, energy, experience, knowledge and numerous contacts into my work. I enjoy the variety and diversity of experiences I have had in this business. Of course, I am pleased to be working with market leader - Dickson Realty - the brokers and the hundreds of fine agents in this company.
In order to stay connected to non-profit work, I serve as Board Chair of International Social Service-USA located in Baltimore, MD. I also serve on the Board of the Northern Nevada Chapter of the Red Cross and have served on Advisory Committees for the local CASA (Court Apponted Special Advocates) program and of Project REAL, located in Las Vegas and focused on providing law-related education to children K-12.
Personally, I have been married for 40+ years to Michael P. Mentaberry, a Broker/Salesperson with Dickson Realty, have four children and 5 grandchildren living in Nevada, California and Hawaii.

| My house had been on the market for a few days, and I was out of town on vacation. When I got an offer, Mary advised that I take it and I did. She arranged for me to sign papers with Authentisign, and voila!--my house was sold. I've known Mary for fifty years, and she is one of my best friends. She's not only intelligent, hardworking, cheerful, and kind, but she's also honest and knows her business. Reno has been her home for most of her life, so she can show her clients the lay of the land. I hope she'll be my friend forever! |

| We had the pleasure of working with Mary when we decided to relocate from California to Reno, Nevada. A co-worker recommended Mary to us, therefore we sent an email advising her of our situation and what we were seeking. From this initial contact, Mary was a true professional. Being from out-of-town, time was a precious commodity that we could not afford to waste. Mary was very cognizant of this and was well-prepared as she met us the first time with an itinerary of properties tailored to our needs. She maximized our time as she provided information about Reno, its amenities and even the layout of the city so that we would have a better idea of its major streets as we ventured out on our own. She even kept us apprised of the weather so that we could plan our trips to the area accordingly! After showing us a home that was perfect, she immediately went to work, representing us as out-of-town buyers. This type of relationship is heavily dependent upon internet and phone contact therefore it takes effective communication, organization, and prioritization skills. Mary was highly skilled in all of these areas. Throughout the process, we felt as if we were Mary’s only clients (although we know this wasn’t the case) as the level of personalization was unbelievable. Mary was on top of every detail from the inspection schedules, advising us on the completion of repairs, to ensuring we were provided invoices for work performed. She answered all of our questions, and was sure to be with us at every meeting along the way. We truly felt supported from her very first email to the day she handed us the keys to our new home. We’ve already recommended Mary to our friends and co-workers, regardless of whether they are even looking for property in the Reno area. You never know when they may change their mind or they may know someone who is looking in that area. If that happens, we want to ensure Mary is at the top of their list! Mary was an integral part of our journey in beginning our lives in Nevada and will always be a part of our memories. |

| Mary is an outstanding realtor. She is very knowledgeable about the housing market in the Reno/Sparks area. While house hunting in a difficult market for buyers, I felt as though I were Mary's only client. I know she had several other clients, but she responded promptly to all of my calls and inquiries. Including a call on Easter Sunday. A home I had been watching went on the market late Easter afternoon. Mary returned my call within 15 minutes and submitted an offer on my behalf that afternoon. She was ALWAYS available , picked us up at our house or place of work, and her and her husband Michael would meet us any time anywhere to get papers signed and the process moving as fast as possible.
