I am the Regional Vice President for Coronado Bay Capital, Coronado Bay Capital is a boutique real estate capital intermediary. Our correspondent relationships consist of numerous pension funds, life insurance companies and banks, giving us virtually unlimited capacity
I have been involved with real estate since 1985, and have experience in the following fields; Commerical finance and brokerage, REO portfolio management, brokerage, residential mortgage and appraisal. I started my career with the Dallas Central Appraisal District, achieving the position of commercial appraiser. I later became the REO District Manager for Great Western Bank covering the states of Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado where he doubled the previous annual sales volume prior to his arrival.
I started Santa Fe Properties after leaving GWB. Santa Fe was a real estate consulting business specializing in due diligence activities, commercial appraisal, ad valorem tax, brokerage and management. I was recruited by Coldwell Banker and became a Market Analyst covering Texas and Oklahoma.
I later joined Dallas based Mohr Partners Commercial Brokerage in 1999 where I was instrumental in putting together the $62 million Infomart Los Angeles project. Infomart Los Angeles is the historic Terminal Annex Building or Main Post Office next to Union Station in downtown Los Angeles. This building was turned into one of the most important Internet / Telecom buildings in Southern California.
I then joined Platinum Funding in 2005 to form the Commercial Division which lends on every property type with loan amounts from $150,000 to $500 million. Currently with Coronado Bay capital lending on all commercial property types in every state.
I attended The University of Texas Austin and Arlington and graduated with a BBA in Business Administration in 1985. I was President of Rho Epsilon, a professional real estate fraternity.
I currently live in Newport Beach, California and have one daughter, Allyn, who is a graduate of the Univeristy of Texas at Austin and SMU Deadman School of Law. I am an avid tennis player and golfer and is active in several real estate related associations. I am currently licensed in California.
Certifications
Over my 29 years of real estate experience I have touched on most of the disciplines within the field. I consider myself an expert however on two, mortgage and brokerage. I am also very proficient with computers and internet marketing.
