The main section of Lakewood Ranch consists of 5,500 acres, and has many sub communities including: Summerfield, Riverwalk, Edgewater, Lakewood Ranch Country Club, Greenbrook, Lakewood ranch East. Lakewood ranch continues to grow, and eventually will become larger than either Sarasota or Bradenton. The "Lakewood Ranch Lifestyle", makes good use of the thoughtful process in laying out the neighborhoods, use of green-space, parks, and nearby amenities. It's great to be able to get to almost everything you would need without having to go on a major road.
