Timm & Associates, Inc., a Minnesota corporation, was founded in 1993 by Greg Timm with a belief that brokerage firms are first and foremost about serving clients. The principal of Timm & Associates has been involved in over 225 hotel property transactions over the past seventeen years. Our staff has also been successful in owning and operating several hotels across the United States. Our sales range from mid size hotels to full service facilities, to entire portfolios of hotels. We have been successful in marketing franchised as well as independent properties. Currently we are marketing a number of properties from small limited service properties to full service properties located in major metropolitan markets throughout the upper Midwest.

Greg Timm: As the founder and President of Timm & Associates, Inc. Greg has been actively involved within the lodging industry for over twenty years and during this time period has managed the sale of over 125 hotels within the upper Midwest. He also has over 20 years of experience in operations, management and ownership. In addition to being active in the brokerage practice and management of the company, Greg provides an experienced source of advice and counsel to clients and colleagues on business matters ranging from sales strategies, property valuations, hotel operations and business practices. Greg is a leader in the sale of hotels and motels in the Midwest region. Greg is a strong supporter of the Minnesota Hotel Lodging Association and the Asian American Hotel Operators of America (AAHOA)
Beth Gerstein Timm: Beth joined Timm & Associates, Inc. in 2004 as its General Counsel. Beth has over ten years of experience as an attorney practicing in the areas of real estate, commercial lending, developer’s counsel and construction law. She has experience in IRC 1031 exchanges, debt and equity financing, corporate counseling, business formation and corporate finance matters. Beth works with the sales team providing expertise in structuring the sales transactions and working through the due diligence matters related to the brokerage business the sale of properties.
Corey Stender: Corey Stender is a veteran of the hospitality industry. His roles have included operational management, food and beverage management, and marketing and feasibility studies. A member of Timm & Associates, Inc. since 2001, Corey has been involved in numerous hotel transactions ranging from small economy hotels to upper tier full service hotels. Corey is active with AAHOA, Minnesota Lodging Association, and other national lodging affiliates. He has also been a guest speaker on several occasions at the University of Wisconsin Stout, School of Hotel and Restaurant Management, on different hospitality issues. Corey is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Stout and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
Jeff Brandtjen: Jeff joined Timm & Associates, Inc. in 2010 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotels, Restaurants, and Tourism Management, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Golf Enterprise Management. While a student at Stout, Jeff received the Chancellor’s Award for Academic Excellence five times, and was an active member of the Academic Honor Society. He is currently a member of the Minnesota Lodging Association and the Wisconsin Hotel & Lodging Association. Having years of activity throughout the hospitality industry, Jeff is experienced in sales, marketing strategies, as well as operational planning and administration.
Lee Kerfoot: Lee Kerfoot has over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, most recently in hotel asset management, which included management contract negotiations, underwriting, and in-depth operational reviews with senior hotel personnel and regional supervisors to assess property performance and feasibility analysis. He has also worked extensively in hotel operations. He holds a Masters of Management in Hospitality from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
