| My husband and I had been looking on and off by ourselves for the last year knowing we weren't quite ready to buy but wanted to see what was out there. So by the time we were ready, we had pretty much narrowed down what we wanted and weren't going to settle for anything less. So needless to say, Lisanne had to work pretty hard to find us our house! At first, we had her show us everything that was available in our paramenters. So that meant she showed us a house about 3 nights a week and on the weekends we looked at as many as 5-6. That might not sound too bad, but we were looking at everything on 5 or more acres within a 45 minute commute to Eugene! Finally after we looked at everything that was currently on the market and still didn't see anything we really wanted, she was on top of every new listing that popped up so we could jump at the first chance. She knew how "picky" we were, so when I looked at my husband and said questioningly "Oh my gosh, I think this is it?!" and he agreed, the three of us literally jumped up and down hugging out in the middle of the shop on this property-not kidding. We and our 2 little children were living with family for the last couple months and although you gotta love family, we really wanted to find our new home and get settled in. Well, even after our long search, we put Lisanne through the ringer with all the inspections and work we wanted done before we would buy the house. Between her, the selling agent and us, we all found contractors for each different issue and were able to get the work done in a timely manner. This was no small feat either as we had a new heating system installed, one whole side of the house resided while have the exterior painted and new carpet installed. They all had to time it just right not to be in each others way. We were partially lucky that the home was vacant and they could do it all without anything being in their way. Lisanne kept us updated and helped coordinate any delays among the contractors. There was a few drawbacks with materials needing to be re- ordered but it all still came through in the end. Lisanne's happy upbeat and energetic personality really made a difference. I tend to stress out and she made this into a fun and enjoyable experience.
