As a transplanted Yankee, I have been licensed as a real estate broker in Massachusetts, New Jersey and now the beautiful Georgia lake country. My Boston and New York metro market experience is an asset in this region of the state rapidly becoming an extension of the Atlanta, Athens and Augusta vitality.
With the majority of my time spent in New Jersey, I moved from sales to management and finally company ownership. With the emergence of the mega-companies, I happily sold my company, then became a VP in a large, extremely well run firm.
Our relocation to Georgia has opened a new door. It's interesting to have seen the economic "waves" of the past three decades of my career, and comforting to know that good business is achievable in any market. Real estate has been remarkably kind to me, so along the way, I have tried to give back to my Realtor community in serving on State and National Association committees, and in 1994, was named New Jersey Realtor of the Year.
Lakes Oconee and Sinclair are the center of attraction for the area, and both have been blessed with high water while other, more northern Georgia lakes have suffered the effects of some drought years. Of equal local attraction are the historic towns of Madison, Milledgeville (once the state capital) and the re-emerging town of Greensboro (cited for its main street renaissance in July, 2008).
The 20 year investment of the Reynolds Corporation in the region is unparalled for its positive influence on our growth, and planning for that growth. While a number of southern markets have experienced this rate of expansion, few have had the pleasure of seeing the infrastructure in place before it became inadequate. The success of the Reynolds Plantation properties, the Ritz-Carlton, and numerous major movers such as Southern Living Corp. and Del Webb contribute to an upbeat, often upscale atmosphere.
With a range of choices from less than $100,000 to multi-million dollar estates, from A-frames to Pre-War (Civil, that is) mansions, from traditional development homes to lakefront cottages, from a glorious townhome on the 7th green to a panoramic view of Lake Oconee in your 20,000 sf summer house - we have it all. That, and the charm and warmth of classic Southern hospitality. I can assure you that there is such a spirit waiting for you, and a wealth of choices to enjoy.
The ultimate product is you.....and the care, expertise and quality you bring to the table.
