A native Texan with a wife from Olympia, I settled in the Puget Sound area with my family after an exciting eleven year military career. My military experience was extremely rewarding and exposed me to exotic lands and cultures around the globe. But consideration of our growing family won out as the higher priority and I put my skills to work for the civilian world. My transition began with the Tacoma Sister City Committee and the World Trade Center near the Port of Tacoma in Fife, working with City officials, volunteers and cultural representatives from Europe and Asia.
I was originally licensed in 1995 with Coldwell Banker Hawkins-Poe, Inc. (CBHP) at its headquarters in Fircrest and University Place where I greatly benefited from training provided by the franchise and mentoring from the company's seasoned veterans of the real estate industry. It was with CBHP that I acquired my initial experience in residential, land and commercial transactions as well as property investments and management. In 1997 I began working with the professionals of Prudential Contact Corporation in Puyallup to work nearer my client base and our home in Pierce County.
Originating from military service, my computer skills proved my greatest asset as the internet became the dominate real estate marketing tool. By 1999, the demand for my ability to create online websites with access to thousands of MLS listings overwhelmed the needs of the successful real estate business that I had built. In 2001 I founded nwRealty.Net, Inc. which today serves over 400 real estate agents and brokers in western Washington.
But all work and no play makes Larry a really dull boy. Our children keep my wife and I busy with athletic sports and we all actively serve at Bethany Baptist Church in Puyallup. I serve as a Board Member of the Columbia Baptist Conference Church Growth Fund and brush dangerously close to politics as a Commissioner with the City of Edgewood's Planning Commission. And just to keep life unpredictable, I've taken up the extreme sport of Wind Surfing with my teenage son along the Columbia River Gorge.
Without a doubt the greatest benefit that I bring to the table is public exposure on the Internet! Our primary public website is in fact a national platform of over a million web pages targeting every zip code, city, county, state and territory in the United States receiving an average of over 10,000 visits per day. Over 5% of that exposure is focused right here in Washington State.
But quality real estate representation isn't delivered by one guy on the internet; it requires the area specific knowledge and skills of REALTORS on the streets, communities and in neighborhoods all around the state. That's where our network of real estate professionals takes over. They come from various independent brokerages, some with franchises, most are REALTORS ... but all are hard working professionals.

My founding of nwRealty.Net, Inc. sprung from my passion to provide REALTORS the online tools they need to establish an advantage in the competitive Seattle market area. The denial of agents to provide their clients with accurate listing information online and "on demand" was extremely frustrating to me, as it is to most agents. We've hung in there so that today we're able to offer that service for FREE!
