Greensboro, NC

Welcome to Greensboro... North Carolina's third largest city!

Greensboro acquired the nickname the "Gate City" for its easy access to the railroad travel, but the title is even more appropriate today because it sits at the confluence of two interstate highways. Daily flights out of the Piedmont Triad International Airport also connect it to all corners of the country. With a moderate climate, reasonable costs and an excellent quality of life, these facilities have drawn many to the area.

Greensboro has something for everyone - from diverse business opportunities to a first rate educational system including 2 state supported universities, 3 private colleges and the third largest community college in the state. High Point, NC

Furniture Capital of the World

In 1859, when High Point was named after the "highest point" on the North Carolina Railroad, city founders knew that its central location would attract industry and commerce. If you are looking for furniture, this is the place to be! High Point is host to the largest home-furnishings market in the world, almost doubling the size of the population every April and October, with 70,000 visitors.

Enjoy the boom. High Point may just be the one of the best-kept secrets in the Triad. Small enough for community, yet large enough to attract top level industry and jobs - as evidenced by the Piedmont Centre, a 1,100-acre business park on Hwy 68 north of town. High Point may be small, but it plans big. Despite its proximity to the larger cities of Greensboro and Winston-Salem, High Point has a unique identity in the Piedmont Triad. Its small size and location on the fringe of the metropolitian area give it the relaxed air of a small southern town, but the influx of international business people brings a cosmopolitan sophistication and vigor to the city.
