Aloha I have been an active Realtor for the majority of my life as a full agent/ broker owner and occasional trainer of other agents! I have owned and operated my own successful office for over 17 years before selling it and realizing a long time dream of returning to live full time in Hawaii. I have a philosophy of doing what is best no matter how much it may hurt! Personal gain is secondary to what is the best course of action for my clients. Over the past 30 years of doing this business I have found that personal gain will naturally follow when I care more about what is good for my clients than what I want at the moment. I live and work in the Keauhou Resort area in Kailua Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii in the State of Hawaii... alot of words to describe a very special area of the Hawaiian Islands. The Big Island is the largest of all the Islands with the least amount of people per square foot.. The Keauhou area and Kailua Kona in general is on the Western side of the Island of Hawaii.. My zip code is 96740.. I know it forward and backward and all around. Even though it is a small area population size, it covers many many square miles. Moving from a similar open space area in San Luis Obispo county in California; I feel right at home here.. and in a much more comfortable climate!
My main clients are others who have or who are relocating their mid life years to tropical paradise. Working hard to raise a family and provide a good quality of life for others, finally comes to a time when it is ok to relax, and enjoy the fruits of your hard work. I work with many second home buyers as well as those who are moving to Hawaii to enjoy their life here 'full time'. The neighborhood of Bayview Estates is my home, I live and work here. The neighboring communities of Keauhou Estates and The Villas are right near by. We have fabulous views of Keauhou Bay and the wide open Pacific Ocean horizon affords us incredible sunsets year long.
The luxury home market here in Keauhou is affordable compared to other areas such as Maui or further north along the Kohala Coast..Comparable homes in California with comparable climate and this close to the ocean are millions of dollars more!
