ABOUT ME: I am happily married and mother to 2 amazing children and 3 incredible grandchildren. My husband, Jim, and I have been married for 43 years. We have a small ranch in Northeast Oklahoma. In addition to his ranching activities, Jim is the Internal Auditor for the Osage Nation's Mineral Council.
Our son, Pete, is a dentist and the owner of All Smiles Dentistry in NW Oklahoma City. He and Becky have been married for 9 years and are the parents of 6-year old Asher and 4-year old twins, Noah and Finley.
Our daughter, Kimberly, is my business partner. She received her Bachelors Degree in Marketing from Oklahoma State University in 2005 and is the Office Manager and Executive Assistant for an OKC based Oil & Gas Company. Kimberly is an Accredited Staging® Professional and a graduate of the Haverhill Institute of Home Staging that is frequently advertised on HGTV.
MY BUSINESS LIFE: Kimberly and I are officially launching our business, 2 Swans A-Staging, and are offering introductory discounts in order to establish our reputation of providing upfront, honest communication with both the Seller and the Agent. I took early retirement from a Fortune 50 Company. As College Relations Coordinator, I was involved in the company's campus recruiting activities which included developing promotional materials, scheduling campus interviews, career fairs, and working with summer interns. As much as I loved my job, it was a job. Coming out of retirement, my goal is to begin a career!
I am so excited to begin this chapter in my life and start sharing the benefits of staging with educational blogs. As a relatively new blogger, I have been doing extensive "research" on what's out there in the Real Estate and Staging market. My goal is contribute a series of short articles that are informative and fun to read.
MY FREE TIME: Most recently I became Queen Mother of a Red Hat Society Chapter, The Company of Wayward Saints. I currently serve on the Board of Directors for the Osage County Historical Society & Museum and am active in the GFWC Heeko Club and Osage County CattleWomen. I have also been extensively involved in the Constantine Arts Council, Pawhuska Ambassadors, State CattleWomen, Pawhuska Roundup Club & International Roundup Club's Cavalcade and oversaw the Queen Program for 16 years. I am a member of the United Methodist Church, UMW and Mary Martha Circle.
