Marlene Scheffer has been involved in the real estate industry for more than 20 years, and has been licensed in Washington State for more than ten years.  Marlene works at Realty Station in Bremerton, Washington, a boutique real estate agency where the motto is, "Not the biggest, just the best!"  and the agents emphasize quality over quantity. 

Marlene has a bachelor's degree in mass communications and marketing with a specialization in public relations and a minor in communication studies from Seattle University, a private Jesuit school on Capital Hill in Seattle.  She later married Jason, officer in the US Navy.  Jason and Marlene had their son Adam in April 2004.  Marlene enjoys balancing her time between her real estate career and her family.

Marlene works in all areas of Kitsap County, including Bremerton, Silverdale, Poulsbo, Seabeck, Kingston, Indianola, and Port Orchard, as well as areas of Mason County and Pierce County.

As a navy wife, Marlene is pleased to be an expert in military relocation and VA loans.  She is a certified Washington State Housing Finance Commission instructor, and is therefore very knowledgable about FHA loans and downpayment assistance programs. 

Marlene is also experienced in short sale and pre-foreclosure properties. She works with buyers to locate and purchase distressed properties for an excellent price, and with homeowners to keep their homes from being foreclosed.

Marlene is an Accredited Buyer Representative, a Graduate of the Realtor Institute, and an Accredited Staging Professional. She regularly attends the annual conference of the National Association of Realtors, and believes that ethics, education,  and committment to exceptional service are what sets good agents apart.
