BUYER REPRESENTATION IS VERY IMPORTANT WHEN BUYING A NEW HOME! Don't make the mistake of passing up FREE REPRESENTATION thinking you will get a better deal without a Realtor. It does not work that way. Most builders are great. But even the best ones are there for one reason - their profit. The builder has professionally educated representation throughout the entire transaction - from a trained salesperson, the project manager, the contractors, the construction superintendents, the mortgage company, the title company, the surveyor, the appraiser, the brick manufacturer, the plumber, the electrician, the attorney and so on. And, they might have even told you that you did not not need a Realtor to buy one of their homes. Well, the truth is, you don't. But without buyer representation, its you against an entire team of trained professionals who work for the builder.
