I am an agent that believes "International is in our backyard", I happily serve those foreign-born buyers in the Hampton Roads area and gaining experience of the international/global real estate market (specifically the Caribbean/West Indian area).

My most rewarding real estate experience this year was helping a first-time homebuyer purchase their first home--a $90,000 foreclosure. By working on the weekend, in the rain and hounding a "9-to-5, weekdays only" foreclosure listing agent to access into a property that should have been listed for $150,000. By the time Monday came and other agents attempted to show the property, our contact was already on its way to the bank and approved the next day! The property, after small repairs totalling $2,000-$3,000, recently appraised for $160,000!

I am first and foremost a listing agent. I listed 21 properties in 2007--enough to be in the top percentage of my company of 550 agents. "Houses don't sell themselves--I do!" A listing agent is like the owner of shoe store while the agents serving buyers are like the personal shoppers to the buyers coming in to buy my shoes. However, when you sell shoes, you sell left shoes (listings or sellers) and you sell right shoes (buyers). I work with buyers and sellers--knowing exactly what to expect on each side of the coin. You can't represent a seller without knowing what the buyers are out there looking at.

My average price-point last year was in the upper $200,00. This year my transaction include $90,000-$450,000 price range.
