I began my real estate career in the early 80's, and if anyone remembers the horrific interest rates in those years you will appreciate why I felt I needed to so something else. That "something else" came in the form of a technical career that lasted the next 15 years and took me to many interesting places in the South East settling in beautiful East Tennessee in the early 90's. During those years, I continued to get my "real estate fix" by studying interior design and investing in properties that needed "TLC" and showing them love. Some I resold, but others I retained as rental properties.

When I sold my technical firm in 2002, I dedicated the next 2 years to full time real estate investing and building a client base. The change in the real estate business was truly revolutionary since the 80's, and my technical background was a perfect fit for my "new" real estate career. The power of the Internet, social networking, and smart phones have truly made it a joy to create a system for success.

My husband is a general contractor specilizing in residential custom homes and a true craftsman. Watching him take a home from someone's "dream" to a "reality" is a pleasure...and one that I learn from constantly. It has made me a much better REALTOR and given me a love for new construction.

My real estate career is a choice. It is not about money, and it is not about ego. It is about enjoying what I do - every day. The people I meet and help along the way become my friends.  I truly enjoy helping people find "home"!
