Karen and I moved to Punta Gorda Isles from Orono, Minnesota in 2002 after purchasing our current residence in 2001 and doing the "down to Florida" thing (instead of the "up to the lake" thing).  I was raised in (but not a native of) Miami, and was always on the water whenever I could.  When it came time to plan for retirement, Punta Gorda was immediately at the top of our list (once we found it).  We've owned and/or spent lots of time on all types of boats - Punta Gorda Isles is a gulf-access waterfront community...

My parents did a great job with all of us (four brothers).  When I moved to Minnesota in 1979, I found that I already had the Midwestern work ethic.  (Most) People from the Midwest do what what they say they're going to do when they say they're going to do it and they do it to the best of their ability, which is, of course, the way it should be done.

Karen and I (she's from Chicago) pride ourselves on both the level and quality of the involvement we strive for in our dealings with our clients.  We both have financial operations and systems backgrounds from the '70s and the '80s - we've always gotten things done and gotten them done correctly the first time.

Our primary source of new business is referrals from previous customers.  We've apparently succeeded in exceeding their expectations and have yet, to our knowledge, to disappoint anyone.

We act as Single Agents for our clients.  Most Florida real estate licensees are Transaction Brokers; we had one when we purchased our home. and then we went to school...
