Leimkuhler is Welcomed at First Team's Canyon Office
Kathy Leimkuhler could easily dub herself the real estate coach. For the last 17 years she‘s had a passion for teaching physical education and coaching sports. Prior to her career in real estate, Leimkuhler, while raising her five children, taught physical education to grades K-8 at an elementary school and coached basketball, softball and soccer-something she still loves to do when she's not coaching buyers or sellers.
Leimkuhler says developing her skills as a teacher and a coach has given her a great foundation for knowing how to effectively educate, inspire and guide people-skills she now applies to coaching people in real estate transactions.
Always a very upbeat and positive person, Leimkuhler is a lifelong learner who is always striving to find the best way to help her clients make the home buying or selling experience a very positive one. Her philosophy is simple: listen to the needs of your client, whether a buyer or seller, be well informed of the market in your area, and guide everyone through the real estate process to achieve the most favorable outcome possible.
"Which is so much easier when you have a great company like First Team behind you," Leimkuhler says. "I came from a small boutique company and felt the need for greater support. With marketing, advertising and training First Team is behind you all the time, which is so important if you're going to meet the needs of your clients, your prospective clients, and be a success in the ever-changing real estate industry."
Leimkuhler is still going strong amid the challenges of the current market. It's something she credits to her pairing with First Team and her remaining active in coaching. "It's such a great way to connect with my community and build friendships and trust with the parents of the children I coach. So if the opportunity arises, and I can assist them as a real estate coach, there's an established history there and they know they can trust me."
