I have, for the past three years, sub-contracted with two companies who do Broker Price Opinions for such financial institutions as Sun Trust and Wells Fargo. A brokers' price opinion is similar to an appraisal. The broker has to give his expert opinion on the market value of the subject property on which he is doing the BPO. The BPO is quite involved in both leg-work and brain-work, And it must pass stringent requirements of the financial institution. I am on many occasions called upon to complete a BPO in a "rush" because it has been contracted to an agent who failed to deliver. I've never fail to deliver. These BPOs have given me a level of expertise in areas as diverse as Fripp Island and Hardeeville, Hilton Head Island and Lady's Island. That expertise is unmatched by the vast majority of agents in the Beaufort County.
