Growing up, my family owned a resort in Illinois. We were taught the necessity and value of TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE. When most children were off vacationing and enjoying the summer off, my siblings and I were cleaning toilets, walking the grounds picking up trash, skimming the pool, and most of all listening to customers whether it was a compliment or a complaint and then letting them know WE HEARD THEM!
After school years, I married and started my family. I worked outside the home and found myself always working with teams developing systems and procedures for companies.
Later in my career, it became apparent, I had ideas I needed to move forward on. I wanted to build a company on what I believed to have strong work ethics and sound morals. I founded a Senior Companion Care service in 1999, and grew it to over 400 caregivers within 6 years! A magazine once wrote an article about my community involvement titled...Joyce Sedam - Connecting People with People. I have continued this in my Real Estate career. Again, listening to people and not only hearing, but understanding their needs and wants. Whether my client is looking for a $25,000 investment property or a $1,000,000+ home, they each get the same quality service, professionlism with integrity. I build my business on relationships and continue to connect clients with lenders, inspectors, appraisers, title companies, and others.
