I started selling real estate in 1990, and have always been a full time agent. Starting with a large company, I was provided with excellent training. I furthered my education by taking all of the Graduate of Real Estate Institute classes, and got my GRI Designation in October of 1999. With additional education, I took the Broker's exam and passed in 2000. It was after that, that I moved to another large franchise. Being a very motivated and independent agent, I continued to improve my skills in Real Estate. My clients have always felt special and have told me that I have gone above and beyond what was expected of a typical agent. I continue to learn what will work in our market place and continue to evolve. In May of 2008, I opened my own Real Estate brokerage, Seger Realty & Associates, with my sister, and partner, Nancy Dodson. We are a Team that works to the benefit of our clients and customers.
I specialize in all of Macomb County; specific areas are; Macomb Township, Ray Township, Shelby Township and Sterling Heights. I also service St. Clair Shores, Eastpointe, Roseville and Clinton Township. I have sold homes as far north as Bruce Township, Washington Township, Armada and Romeo, and as far south as Warren and Royal Oak. In my earlier years, I also serviced the east side of Wayne County and sold a lot of homes in Detroit and Harper Woods. (My husband is a retired Detroit Fireman)
I have always enjoyed working with First Time Home Buyers. In doing so, that requires a special ingredient that most agents don't possess. I enjoy walking them through the process, nothing is too small of a concern when working with me. If they do not have a mortgage person already, I put them in touch with someone who also has the patience to explain the process to them. I work with trust worthy individuals. I am not a pushy agent, by any means. I will be honest with both buyers and sellers, even if the answer I have is not what they want to hear. Since I have been in the business for over 18 years, I have several clients that have purchased their 2nd and 3rd homes with my services. They have also sold their homes through me, while purchasing their next home.
