John Bogner is a native of Ukiah. John grew up in the family moving and storage business and learned early about the stress people can go through when they are moving. In 1977, John got his real estate license and began helping buyers and sellers deal with the moving process in a different way. He learned that each client was very unique and how he could help them was different in each situation. Listening carefully and understanding what was important to them was key to a successful move. Having a good sense of humor doesn't hurt either!
John enjoys giving back to the community that supports him and is active in the South Ukiah Rotary Club, a board member of the Mendocino College Foundation as well as participating in a variety of other organizations in the Ukiah area. One of the aspects of the real estate business John enjoys most is meeting new people and introducing them to the community and making new friends along the way. The one-on-one time with buyers and sellers offers an opportunity to get to know people on a deeper level than most business interactions. Most of John's friends started as clients.
John's business motto is "Leave Nothing to Chance" and John's team, The Bogner Group, practices this every day. Attention to details, follow through and constant communication are part of the superior service John and his team offer to every buyer and seller. The result has been very rewarding. Early in John Bogner's career, he chose to specialize in what he likes best; residential real estate. John found the emotional connection buyers and sellers have to their home to be one of the most interesting aspects of the business. Helping people identify what is most important about the home they are searching for and then searching for the best fit for them is very rewarding and fun. While Gary Nix, part of The Bogner Group, works with land, ranches, income and commercial properties; John's focus is on residential property in the Ukiah, Hopland and Redwood Valley areas. Having sold more homes in the area than any other Realtor, John brings a level of experience to his clients no one else can match. John knows the area well including the special features and nuances of each neighborhood. Sharing that knowledge with buyers helps them make informed decisions that creates happy customers and is part of the reason so many of John's clients refer their friends, family and co-workers to John when it's time to buyer or sell a home.
