 Joette began building her business knowledge in commercial real estate lending with Union Bank.  She continued to demonstrate her expertise in finance as Assistant Vice President in Portfolio Banking with Wells Fargo Bank.  As Director of Human Resources with Mayfield Publishing Company, Ms. Schenck created and developed the human resource component of the company.

 Ms. Schenck is an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP™).  This designation is a benchmark of true excellence in customer service for home sellers.  Joette is dedicated to the principles and practices of staging and the many benefits this service brings to her clients.  To become a Seniors Real Estate Specialist, Ms. Schenck has spent many hours in training. Joette is highly qualified to assist seniors and their families in identifying and addressing the unique challenges seniors face not only in their real estate needs, but in all aspects of their lives.  Joette has been committed to living “green” for several decades; she has taken it to the next level by earning the Eco Broker and GREEN certifications.  This additional education provides her with knowledge to assist others in identifying ways to make their homes more eco friendly.  Having represented a seller in a short sale years before the general public had heard of such a thing clarified the need to obtain specific training for distressed sellers.  Joette sees the Short Sale and Foreclosure Certification is an on going educational process; as the market continues to change so does the process.  She stays abreast of these on going developments through a network of short sale groups.

 Ms. Schenck has always devoted herself to several philanthropic groups by serving on the Realtors® Service Volunteer Program (RSVP), Intero Foundation Office Representative, Assistance League of San Jose, and Long Cares Foundation. Ms. Schenck is also a member and former Chaplain of The Elks Sahuarita Lodge and American Legion Auxiliary Post 66. Her current business affiliations include Accredited Staging Professional, American Business Women’s Association (current President), Seniors Real Estate Specialist®, EcoBroker, , and member of the Tucson Association of Realtors®.   Joette lived in the Santa Clara Valley for over forty years; she currently resides in Sahuarita with her Katrina rescue dog, “Chico”. Her oldest daughter lives a “green” life in Portland Oregon; her younger daughter lives in The Bay Area.
