She was very knowledgeable about what updates would make our house stand out from similar houses in our area and we were able to sell it at a price above the average asking price. | Ms. Defenbaugh was very responsive from the first day of contact. Guided us through what was needed (as well as not needed) to ready the house for market, helped us with identifying contractors, and checked in with us regularly. Her team can even provide interior/exterior cosmetic work such as power washing, painting, caulking and final cleaning. Ms. Defenbaugh helped us meet the target date for being on the market, provided on-line marketing, photos, videos, and everything needed to hit the traget market. From listing to closing was less than 1-1/2 months, and we closed for our target price. I would recommend Ms. Defenbaugh to anyone looking for a quality Agent. And her banana bread is "out of this world". |

| Joan was extremely helpful to my husband and I as we searched for, found, and bought our first home. Searching for our first home started as a very daunting process but Joan eased the whole process for us and even made it fun! She truly cared about what we wanted in a home and never made us feel rushed or tried to persuade us toward something we weren't interested in. She was patient with us and educated us throughout the home buying process while always keeping our desires for our first home at the forefront. One of the best things about Joan is that she is extremely responsive and was always approachable for any question or need we had. She worked around our busy schedules to help us see homes we were interested in at the first available opportunity. When we stumbled upon the home we quickly realized we wanted to buy, it was a Saturday and there were multiple showings on the house. We hadn't even been pre-approved for a loan yet, so it was both an exciting and nerve-racking moment to realize we had found the home we wanted to buy.
