I have been involved in the real estate industry for 31 years. I was 6'4" and had a full head of hair when I started! That's my story and I'm sticking with it!
That's me and Jeannie, or J-Dog as we called her. She was a fluffy white ball of fur, a bichon-frise if you are into branding, who loved to ride the wave-runner with me (she always wore a life jacket...it saved her life, but that's a story all by itself). She was the best companion ever. Sadly, she left us on October 30th after bringing nearly 14 years of joy to our family, friends and anyone who ever met her. She was the best, and not a day goes by that I don't miss her.
I'm also a cancer survivor (at least for now). That experience taught me that humor truly is the best medicine, and I follow that approach in every thing I do. Although there's nothing funny about buying or selling a home, injecting some humor into the process can greatly reduce the stress that a home-sale transaction can create.
I believe that if you aren't having fun at your chosen profession, find something else to do. I treasure every day, I enjoy what I do, and I get great satisfaction from helping people.
