James Ebert, a seasoned, accomplished, successful Realtor and appraiser has served Buyers, Sellers, Investors, and others throughout the Southern California region for the past 22 years.  He is a proud agent with the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Realty, in Westlake Village, Oak Park, North Ranch, & Thousand Oaks. James attributes his success as a Realtor to his professional, deeply researched & highly-educated approach to all transactions.  A graduate of the University of Illinois, Champaign- Urbana, with further MBA Studies at Woodbury University and through the Appraisal Institute, he is an expert at listening to, and analyzing the specific needs and requirements of each client he represents.  James is known for his integrity, exceptional attention to detail, consistent follow through and flexible work schedule.

Originally from the Midwest and Chicago area, James and his wife Jennifer have been married for 20 years and have 2 boys, one at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and one as graduating senior at Oak Park High School. They enjoy travel and visiting friends & family in Colorado, as well as the California Central Coast.  

Before becoming a licensed California Realtor, James was, and continues as, a highly successful appraiser, a top-referred professional by Malibu Calabasas and Conejo area Realtors.  Previously James enjoyed a successful career in motion picture and television production, as associate producer, production manager, audio mixer, and assistant facilities supervisor.  An educated and highly-skilled professional, he holds a Bachelor’s degree from U of I, and later did MBA graduate work at Woodbury University.Ebert Appraisals & Consulting

James has vast experience working with estates, trusts, courtroom support, date of death valuations, relocations, and many other difficult valuations and appraisals. His clients include families, homeowners, Realtors, attorneys, CPA's and divorcing partners. He personally attends to each situation, never sending out a new trainee, and always develops a report that is " ready for the judge".

With all this experience, Mr. Ebert has also found that many folks hire him to advise them with their real estate purchase, often for investment purposes or for a son or daughter attending an away school.
