Desperate and scared we hated to abandon the model that had taken us to a great life style and many friends. Our systems that worked referrals from past clients had automatically yielded 30 transactions a year for the past 7 years with additional business from other sources. In January of 2009 we found our cash reserves gone and no closings in sight, down to 3 buyers and 9 listings. In February 2009 we called Hoss Pratt and followed is lead to build successful business models and systems, committed to 3 hours a day 5 days (sometime 6) a week lead generating. We ended 2009 with 40 closed transactions listing inventory around 15 and average days on market sales at 51 days. I have been in the business for about 8 years. I have been coached by some great coaches and have done very well in the business. However, like a lot of agents I have had a tougher time in this market but it wasn’t due so much to market changes as it was the poor use of my time. I was not spending enough time on the phone and what little time I did, wasn’t quality time. I stumbled upon Hoss Pratt and got his Prospecting King Calls and something in me just clicked.
