Cody Higley is a Vice President-Branch Manager with Ruoff Home Mortgage. He was born in Marion, OH and graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State University in 2006 (Bachelor’s of Arts, history).

After completing his undergraduate studies, he moved to Toledo, OH, where he attended the University of Toledo College of Law. While in law school, Cody completed coursework in real property, contracts, negotiation, commercial paper, income tax and foreclosure/bankruptcy law. Cody’s legal education helped him develop sharp analytical skills and to be able to navigate through complex issues in an efficient and effective way.

Shortly after graduating from law school, Cody entered the world of mortgage finance. Becoming a Federally-licensed mortgage loan originator in 2011, he has worked for several other financial institutions in both mortgage sales and mortgage sales management roles.

Cody has extensive experience originating a wide variety of mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, USDA Rural Development, jumbo, construction and First-time Homebuyer. He takes pride in his work and does his very best for every client, every time.

Residing in Paw Paw, Michigan since 2015, Cody enjoys relaxing at his recreational property in rural Van Buren County and scouring local antique stores for treasures.
