E Z Home Ownership Realty, LLC is a real estate company licensed in Michigan, located in Mid-Michigan that specializes in providing deeply discounted real estate to first time home owners, remodelers and real estate investors.We work with sellers and Realtors to negotiate short sales on distressed real estate. EZ Home Ownership Realty, LLC works with sellers who are in pre-foreclosure and need to sell their property.  We also work with Realtors who have listings that are over leveraged and with sellers who may be heading toward foreclosure. Working with both the seller and Realtor, if there is one,  we negotiate a reduced pay off on the mortgage from  the lender(s) so that the Realtor can reduce the price to a level attractive to the buyer.

Available properties are located in the tri-county area: Ingham, Eaton and Clinton counties.  All types of properties become available.  Some are located in rural settings or perhaps in a small village, in the suburbs or in an urban area. Depending on the property, they may only need decorating or they may need to be remodeled. Due to the deeply discounted prices, they sell fast. Other homes may have all new paint and carpet and have a smaller price discount


We are THE short sale experts in the Mid Michigan area. As Realtors, we understand the real estate market in Mid Michigan and can help you, a fellow Realtor, price the property where it needs to be to generate sale and a commission. 


We are members of a national group of short sale experts who meet regularly in person or discuss new aspects of the short sale business in conference calls and webinars to keep us constantly informed of changes in the industry. We have also formed a Michigan/Mid west short sale master mind group that focuses on issues pertaining to this area.  As a result of our committment to continual learning and communication with others in the short sale business, our approach to short sales reflects the most up to date approach possible. We know which lenders will discount a mortgage and which lenders have their head in the sand. We know the latest and best techniques that are most successful to negotiate reductions with the lenders.


We pay the Realtor a 6% commission if the short sale is successfully completed and a buyer is found.We are paid through our ability to negotiate a short sale on the property. We don't receive a percentage of the commission.  There is no cost to the seller
