Born and raised in the Maryland/Washington, D.C. area, Harvey received his BS in Business Management/Finance from the University of Maryland in College Park. He attained a second Bachelor degree in Hotel/Restaurant Administration, and later an MBA in Marketing Management from Baruch College in NYC while working full time in various management and financial positions in the hospitality industry. Also a former small business consultant, Harvey decided to pursue his passion for real estate, inspired by his mother, an agent, and father, an appraiser, who also gravitated to the business from other directions in life.
Personally, Harvey is a former professional musician who's still a great lover and listener of all types of tunes. He's also a strong believer in exercise and healthy eating, and as he puts it, "needs to stay in shape to keep up with the rigorous pace of a real estate broker's existence!"
