Real Estate is my life! It has been my full time career since 1980 and I still love it! Staying up to date with the current housing markets and new social media technology is more than a full time job! My experience includes teaching the Real Estate Licensing Class at University of Maryland, managing several Real Estate offices, and selling homes for 30 years. I'm a Broker with Re/Max United Real Estate and a Broker for Nyman Management Services, my Property Management Company. I am a Certified Distressed Property Expert.
Also, I am a Luxury Home Marketing Specialist. My interests are turning Green right now and I have always been into Historic Preservation. I have an extensive network of professionals who I have worked with who give a buyer and a seller excellent services and top quality treatment. My assistant Juliet Patterson is with me full time to make sure you get the attention you need during the transaction. My husband, Donald Frederick is also at Re/Max United Real Estate and is excellent with investors, developers and builders who are looking to expand their portfolios.
Lately, the team has been performing what some may call miracles in this market and that's exactly why we work so hard, to make dreams come true. I subscribe to an old saying of Mark Twain "Apparantly there is nothing that cannot happen today!".
What do I do best? Well most would say marketing and selling upper end homes in my market area of Calvert County, Southern Anne Arundel and Upper Marlboro. I really get excited about getting a house ready to put on the market, the staging, the videos, photos, landscaping and printing brochures. And if anyone knows me, they know I always have the latest magnificent listing to talk about. Planning agent opens, parties and tours for neighbors and friends is something that is not work, but pleasure to me.
Finding just the right house for a buyer is also an adventure to see if we can get it just right! Right now it is fun to pick and choose through all the inventory. Most of my business is by referral from someone who knows me or has used my services in the past. Some buyers have specific needs and wishes and sometimes we will look for months to find just the right house for them.
Now that people may be staying in their homes a bit longer, I have made it my mission to be quite knowledgable about energy conservation, geo-thermal heating, siding with insulation, and using renewable resources in construction of homes and in remodeling.

| Gail, What a pleasure to meet you and your team. When my husband and I began the process of selling our home, Your name came up immediately in conversation. From my first contact with you and Juliet I knew we made the right choice. Your knowledge of the market was apparent and our home sold on the first showing. | •Gail helped my fiance and I (and our two children) purchased our FIRST home in October 2012! While this is a very exciting time in ones’ life, it is also very stressful especially being the first time through a home purchase and not knowing what to expect. Gail, and her assistant Juliet, were very patient throughout the entire process with answering our many questions, phone calls and emails. The process began in July and was on a short sale property, which can take a lengthy amount of time and be a roller coaster ride with the banks involved. Gail and Juliet were right there with us the entire way providing us guidance and help! Even though it felt like an eternity from July to October, the reality of it is, that was a very quick turn around and closing on a short sale property, and much of that was due to the diligent efforts of Mrs. Gail Nyman and Juliet. We certainly cannot thank them enough! We are happily settled into our home and putting our touches on it now and would not be here without them. We gladly recommend their services to close friends and family of ours…and have actually reached out to them on a few occasions for rental properties that friends and family members were seeking.
