Husband, father, son, brother and friend of God. My family is my passion and my friends are the fruit of my living to love. Originally from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, I moved to Houston Texas in 2003 to marry the girl I always dreamed for, prayed for, looked out for and eventually found at Lakewood Church in Houston Texas.

At Fairway Mortgage, we provide our clients with strategic residential mortgage solutions based on their identified "short" and "long" term financial goals throughout the "hot" Houston housing market and the great State of Texas.

I also specialize in assisting current home owners with a refinance of their mortgage to lower their interest rate in order to save on monthly payment and overall interest expense in Houston and throughout the State of Texas.

I have been in the residential mortgage lending business since 1999 and in the real estate industry since graduating The Pennsylvania State University in 1988 with a BA in Real Estate.

| Yesterday was my first experience with Fairway Mortgage, in particular, James Ward. I am an Escrow Officer at LandtitleUSA, specializing in builder accounts. I often work with repeat mortgage companies and know the drill all too well. It was very refreshing, to say the least, to have the banker at closing. Giving the home buyer that additional support at the closing table is a task that has been pushed to the wayside. Mr. Ward was there to answer any questions. | My refinance experience was much less stressful because of James. He thoroughly explained the process and what was needed. He was always available to answer questions and promptly returned calls. His level of customer service exceeded my expectations and that of banks that I had initially asked about refinancing with before finding that their review could take months and also seeing horror stories online about the banks losing information, repeating requests, and delaying closing. | When our pre-approval was lost and our original mortgage lender could not find us another loan due to our unusual circumstances, James stepped in to save the day. He delivered great results, was an expert about what needed to be done, and was amazingly fast, managing to secure us a loan on a very tight time frame (we were already under contract). James also provided his services at an incredibly reasonable rate (we know - we worked with several agents). James is also a friendly person to work with, and he made the application process much more pleasant than it had previously been for us. The next time we need to obtain another loan, we will definitely use him again, and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a home loan |
