This is always tough writing for the "yea me" section of anything. But here goes. I spent the first 31 years of my working life coaching high school basketball (and a variety of other sports) and teaching government, economics, history and English. I moved often, which is also something that I did growing up. My father was in the U.S. Air Force and I attended schools in 7 different states and 1 foreign country. So the move from coach to realtor was in many ways preordained. I know something about moving. I am 58 years old and have lived in 35 different houses in my lifetime. I really believe that this helps me. My wife, Darla and I moved to San Angelo in 1994 and have made it our home. Since becoming a real estate agent in 2003, I have been very lucky. I think that some of the things that served me well as a teacher have served me well as an agent. I believe that my job is serve clients. providing them with expertise and guidance through a complicated process. In my coaching life, success was judged by wins and losses. In the real estate business, success in measured by the number of transactions and the dollar. I have been successful: 2004, $5 million in sales; 2005, $ 6 million in sales, 2006, $ 8 million in sales. 2007 promises to be even better. If you are looking for an agent to represent you, I would love to interview for the job. I don't think that you will or should make a decision about me based on what you see here, but maybe you will see fit to interview me.
