Thank you for your interest in the Nature Coast of Citrus County.  You have discovered the jewel of Florida.  Citrus County is loaded with natural beauty and is located a short drive to Tampa, Orlando, Gainesville and Ocala.  Citrus County  boasts; 20 golf courses, a 21 mile 70,000 acre chain of lakes, natural fresh water springs and awesome fresh and salt water fishing. Scalloping, biking, water sports, camping, clubs, tennis, theater and more!  Enclosed are a few links detailing just some of the adventures to enjoy.  We specialize in active relaxation!
        There are excellent public and private schools for all grades.   The Central Florida Community College and the Withlacoochee Technical Institute offer college and vocational courses right outside your door.  The University of Florida, University of Central Florida and the University of South Florida are all located within an hours drive.  There are two hospitals, one on each side of the county.  Many out-patient centers and specialty groups are ready to keep you in top shape.  The medical facilities are second to none.  We also have a new community based veterans out patient clinic located in the heart of Citrus County, the VA hospital is located in Gainesville, about an hours drive.
        Citrus County is your destination community.  There are home styles to fit every need; hilltop to lakefront, gated to acreage, private country club estates to condominiums.  Once you experience the fantastic people, small town feel and natural beauty, you will never want to leave.
