Get to Know Erik Hinshaw
Erik bought his first home in Hawaii in 2007. Shortly thereafter he began selling real estate. Now 2008 wasn’t the best time to start selling real estate here in Hawaii or anywhere for that matter but Erik kept his head down and learned how to sell in a difficult market. Within a year he was a Top Selling agent and has been ever since.
Having been self employed in a variety of professions since the age of 12 when he started out as a paperboy in Mukilteo, Washington Erik has learned a few secrets about selling. He credits an eye for style, presentation and teamwork for his success as a restaurateur in Santa Barbara California in the 90’s. His time as an acupuncturist from 2001-2007 in San Francisco taught him the value of listening to clients first. And a stint studying Mandarin and translating for a magazine in Beijing in the 80’s taught him to talk to a whole lot more people. Also having made money over the years in real estate himself he knows what sellers and buyers want, a great deal with the least amount of hassle.
