Get to Know Erika Paul

According to Broker-Owner, Erika Paul, the Sotheby's International Realty affiliation offers her firm the tools and resources needed to provide clients with the very best in real estate services.    Eight years ago, Hallmark Realty established itself as a boutique brokerage firm that has always offered its clientele a level of service not often found in the industry. Now as part of the Sotheby's International Realty network, the office has access to the very best in marketing resources and technology which she feels will take the level of service to new heights. Paul also pointed out that it was not only the high quality services that led her to join the company, but their commitment to the client as well.

"Our focus has been, and always will be, completely on the well being of the client and building lasting relationships that endure long after a home is bought or sold.  In Sotheby's I saw this same dedication to the client and knew right away that we would make the perfect fit."

With a Bachelors degree in International Studies and a strong background in sales and marketing, Erika is the President and Broker-Owner of Hallmark Sotheby’s International Realty.

Erika entered the Golf and Country Club Industry as the Membership Coordinator for The Windsor Club in Vero Beach, Florida.  Later, she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where she was the Director of Membership for Smoke Rise Golf and Country Club. Subsequently, she was recruited by one of the leading membership consulting companies in the industry, where she served as Operations Director.  As Operations Director, Erika guided the start up teams for projects such as The Daniel Island Club, Charleston, SC, Hidden Creek Golf Club, Atlantic City, NJ, Black Creek Club, Chattanooga, TN, The Manor, Atlanta, GA, Country Club of the Desert, Palm Springs, CA, Private Retreats, Fairfield, CT, Tuscawilla Country Club, Orlando, FL, Dallas National, Dallas, TX and The Sanctuary Golf and Country Club, Hopkinton, MA..

After narrowing down the Marketing Director search to three well qualified candidates, Erika was asked by the Principals of The Sanctuary Golf and Country Club to relocate to Massachusetts and take on the role of Marketing Director at the much anticipated highly publicized Jack Nicklaus Design Club.  Erika and her family relocated to Boston to be a part of this exciting venture.  Unfortunately, after selling more than one hundred $100,000 memberships from conceptual plans, the project was shut down due to the presence of an endangered species, spotted turtles that have since been taken off the state’s endangered list.

In her various roles working with high end country clubs, Erika developed close working relationships with Realtors across the country. Although offered a number of very challenging opportunities in corporate America Erika decided to pursue what she felt was the next logical move in her career… real estate.  Erika began her real estate career at ReMax and Century 21 while continuing to work closely with the premier developer and builder in the community.  After a few years learning the ropes, she decided to start her own brokerage firm and concentrate on marketing and client service beyond what the traditional firms had to offer.

Erika lived in Berlin, Germany for ten years and has traveled extensively throughout Europe and Africa.  She, her husband Nicholas, her daughter Chloe and their Chocolate Lab Foster, have all become entrenched in this community. Aside from her work with the Board of the MetroWest Symphony Orchestra, Erika serves as a Board member on the Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce and is the Chairperson of their marketing committee. She is also a member of the MOM’s Club.
