I am a full time professional licensed agent with REMAX Affiliates located in Dublin, OH where I am in the company of highlly regarded and accomplished real estate professionals. Previously, I was a real estate agent with ERA Real Solutions in Westerville, OH and began my career in real estate in Boone, NC. I relocated to Columbus,OH in 2011.
In Boone, I was an active member of the High Country Association of Realtors where I served in many capacities. My commitment to the real estate industry is apparent having worked in the following positions in the association: Vice-Chairperson and Chairperson of the Education Committee, member of the Grievance Committee, Advertising Committee Chair, Member at Large, and I taught Fair Housing for new member orientation classes. I was humbled to be recognized by my peers and receive the highly regarded Rising Star award in 2009. In 2011 I became NAR® certified as a Real Estate Mediator and currently have my Green Realtor Designation, my SRES Designation (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) and am an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP.) I am the 2015 President of the Southern Delaware County Realty Association.
As a professional I understand that the buying and selling real estate is a deeply personal decision. Having bought and sold numerous properties, I have always appreciated a broker who “listened” to and “understood” my needs. I believe that listening to my clients is paramount to the building of a successful relationship. It is important that my clients feel confident and trust in my ability to assist them. I relocated to Columbus from North Carolina to be near my family. They are the pride and joy of my life which include my two sons and three grandchildren. My eldest son is a Physician and the father of Austin, Caeden and McKenny. My youngest son is an attorney, is single and lives in Seattle.
Statistically, someone is turning 65 every eight minutes for the next 19 years!
That means the senior market is a very vital and important segment of the real estate industry. I have made the senior market my primary focus since there are very specific needs to address senior clients and their families. The other primary focus of my business are First Time Homebuyers who by there very nature need a knowledgeable professional to guide them through all of the nuances of home buying from finding proper lenders, home inspectors, remiedial companies and closing details. Both sides of the spectrum need special attention down to the finite details of the transaction.
This area is particularly blessed with a number of terrific new home builders. I have developed an amazing relationship with most of them. Buyers who have decided upon finding just the right new home can count on me to help them find one who will fill every dream they imagine, build it to suit in a location they love, and price it to conform with the buyer's budget and financial eligibility.
Columbus has many, many wonderful communities with schools way above the natiolnal average. Since all real estate is local, Columbus has a robust real estate market due to hundreds of national and international companies, smaller businesses and educational institutions that have chosen central Ohio as the core location of their business.
