Get to Know Edgar Roberts, Jr.

My name is Edgar M. Roberts, Jr. (please, call me Eddie), and I am a North Carolina Licensed Home Inspector. As owner of Altamont Inspections, LLC, I take great pride in preparing exceptionally detailed home inspection reports, NEHA-NRPP certified radon gas testing and water testing for discriminating home buyers, sellers and owners throughout Western North Carolina. Our service area primarily includes (but is not limited to) Asheville, Black Mountain, Hendersonville, Brevard, Lake Lure and the surrounding areas in Buncombe, Henderson, Rutherfordton and Polk counties. At Altamont Inspections, LLC, we work directly with our clients, act in their best interest and address their questions and concerns quickly and professionally. We take the time to get to know our clients and their particular situation which enables us to provide unsurpassed individualized service and build a trustworthy relationship. Each inspection I complete is based not only on the standards of practice and code of ethics required by the NC Home Inspector Licensure Board, but my own set of personal core values.

KNOWLEDGEKnowledge is key to helping our clients make educated home buying or selling decisions. I am consistently improving my knowledge of advancements in the home inspection industry. I have 13 years experience in the home improvement field and 6 years experience managing home installation issues. I specialize in identifying pre-existing conditions, fulfill a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education each year and use the most reliable inspection and testing tools available. I am currently the only bilingual (English/Spanish) home inspector in western North Carolina. OUR HOME INSPECTION REPORTS Altamont Inspections, LLC uses HomeGauge software, the most sophisticated inspection software available. Each client receives a computer-generated home inspection report containing digital photos of conditions found during the inspection, a description of the findings in each photo and instructions on how to proceed. An inspection summary is also included for easy reference. In addition to storing each report on a secure, password protected website, we also offer our clients a bound, full-color copy of their report printed on bright white, acid-free paper to prevent discoloration and a copy of the report on CD. Altamont Inspections, LLC provides clients with a number of free conveniences including online scheduling and payment options, secure emailed reports and pest inspection scheduling.
